Prerequisites for Installing Front Office

It is assumed that the person installing Front Office has a working knowledge of SQL Server, Windows Services, and IIs. 

Front Office can be installed on a Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019 platform, or Windows Server 2022 platform. 

Detailed software requirements are given in the installation guide

The prerequisites for each component are below:

Database

• Microsoft SQL Server 2014, Microsoft SQL Server 2016, Microsoft SQL Server 2017, Microsoft SQL Server 2019, Microsoft SQL Server 2022, Azure SQL database, or Microsoft SQL Server on Amazon RDS: all manual installation. 
• At least 5 GB free disk space for data and 2 GB for logs. 

Portal and Web Service

• Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019:
  • Microsoft .NET Framework version 4.7.2 or Microsoft .NET Framework version 4.8: manual installation
• Windows Server 2022 only:
  • Microsoft .NET Framework version 4.8
• IIS - installed by the configurator
• At least 1 GB of free disk space

Windows Server

• Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019:
  • Microsoft .NET Framework version 4.7.2or Microsoft .NET Framework version 4.8: manual installation
• Windows Server 2022 only:
  • Microsoft .NET Framework version 4.8
• Access to an SMTP server
• At least 1 GB of free disk space
