Time Zones

A system default time zone is specified at point of implementation, but Front Office also has
functionality which allows users to view data related date / time information in their own time zone, if
different. If the system setting is enabled, the user can set their time zone via About Me.

The system provides a standard set of International Time Zones based around GMT + / – hours. A full
list is also available in the document template for Data Imports.

All data is saved in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) as an unambiguous point, unaffected by
seasonal variations. It is essential that the user’s Time Zone is accurate as it is used as a basis for the conversion to UTC.
